OHDXF & CCF Meeting 2026

Põhjanaabrid kutsuvad oktoobris oma traditsioonilisele seminariüritusele:

Saturday, 17th of October 2026 at Sokos Hotel Vantaa – the most important meeting of the year for DX and contest enthusiasts.

Welcome to celebrate the 25th DX & Contest Meeting! During the day, you will hear inspiring presentations on top-level DX-peditions, building a contest station, international radio sport and major upcoming events. This is an excellent opportunity to meet old friends, network with like-minded enthusiasts and gain new ideas for yourself.

Program of the day

Have a look at the program with schedule at http://www.ohdxf.fi The program offers a comprehensive overview of current and interesting DX and contest topics. Presentations will include HD8R in the ARRL CW DX Contest, ED1R on building a competitive and low-maintenance contest station, WRTC 2026 and the TX5EU Austral Islands DX-pedition. In addition, the day will feature presentations by Hans PB2T on IARU and 4U1ITU, Adrian C. Ciuperca KO8SCA on 3Y0K and UT5UY/OH5UY on the preparations for VP0SG South Georgia.

There will also be time between the presentations for discussions, networking and a lunch break at participants’ own expense.

The participation fee includes the program and venue costs. Accommodation is not included in the price, so please book your hotel separately.

Directions to the venue:

The hotel is very easy to reach. It is located in Tikkurila, close to the railway station, with excellent train connections both from Helsinki Airport and Helsinki city centre. The airport is only about 7–9 km away, and the train ride from Tikkurila to the airport takes around 8 minutes.

You can book a room at the Original Sokos Hotel Vantaa directly from the hotel. There are also many other hotels close by.
