The Estonian radio amateurs' summer camp in 2025 will be held at Uuskalda puhkeküla (ES3-area, Läänemaa) at the end of June - 27.-29.06. The same site was used in 2020, so many are already familiar with it. Unfortunately the accomodation options in the cabins are very limited, but there is plenty of space for tents and caravans. The official opening of the camp is traditionally on Saturday, 28th at 11 o'clock, but we recommend to arrive alreay on Friday for the evening's get-together. As ERAÜ is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, we also plan a small fest on Saturday evening.
CU at the camp!

The Estonian radio amateurs' summer camp was successfully held at Uuskalda puhkeküla (ES3-area, Läänemaa) at the end of June - 27.-29.06. In spite of rather rainy and windy weather almost 200 (191) participants took part, among them guests from OH, YL, LY and SM. ERAÜ's 90th anniversary was celebrated on Saturday evening with a small fest and specially designed big cakes.
CU next year!

OHDXF and CCF will organise a traditional DX and contest meeting in April in Tallinn at the Tallink Spa Conference Hotel! The main day of the event will be April 5th with presentations and a dinner in the evening. More info from the OHDXF webpage here!
See the finalised programme here!
Welcome to Tallinn!
You are invited to participate in the traditional ES Open HF Championship Contest held on 3rd Saturday of April, i.e. 19th of April!
Contest bands: 80m and 40m simultaneously. Foreign (non ES) participants can work only ES-stations during the contest (ES-stations can also work each other).
Due to the ongoing war in the Ukraine QSO-s with stations from Russia and Byelorussia are not counted in this contest and will not give any points.
The contest starts at 5:00 UTC and has 4 legs (subcontests), each lasting 1 hour. Any ES-station can be contacted twice during this hour on 80m and twice on 40m - one QSO in CW and one in SSB on both bands! So, maximum number of QSO-s with the same station during the whole contest (in mixed category) can be 16 (4x4). The contest ends at 8:59 UTC.
Contest exchange: RS(T) + serial No, starting 001 (number is continuous).
Each CW QSO gives 2 points, each SSB QSO 1 point.
Different ES-call areas (prefixes ES0 - ES9) serve as multipliers on each band and mode (max 40)!
Score: Sum of QSO points x total multiplier.
The complete rules of the contest can be found here!
The Contest Committee recommends DXLog or N1MM+ logging software for this contest. To set up N1MM - see the instructions here!
Results of the previous years can be seen here!

CU in ES Open 2025!
ERAU HF Committee
The Estonian Radio Amateurs Union (ERAÜ) turned 90 years on March 1st! The society was registered by the Estonian authorities as a union in March 1935, but the actual activities of the society started in September 1935 with the first general meeting held and the first board elected. ERAÜ became the member of IARU in 1938. With the Soviet occupation in 1940 the activities of the union stopped and ERAÜ was only restored in 1991 after Estonia regained its independence. IARU restored ERAÜ-s membership in 1992. ERAÜ plans to celebrate its 90th anniversary with a special operation in September 2025.
