Tallinn, National Library of Estonia
You are welcome to the traditional Winter Day in Tallinn on Saturday, February 13. The event is taking place in the National Library of Estonia, Tõnismägi 2. Doors will be opened at 9 am, library's cafeteria will start their service from 9.30 and the programme will start at 10 o'clock - signs with „Talvepäev“ will guide you to the right place.
Presentations include subjects like
- Estonian Students' Satellite project and ham radio
- Sun and its activity cycles
- Implementing WSJT in EME
- Contesting in Latvia
- Changes in ES Open HF Contest's rules and categories
- Ham radio history of Viljandi region.
Some changes and additional topics are also possible, the exact agenda can be found on the spot. Most presentations are in Estonian language.
Looking forward to meeting you soon in Tallinn!

WE KINDLY INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ESTONIAN OPEN VUSHF FIELD DAY IN AUGUST!
THE CONTEST RULES WERE SLIGHTLY CHANGED AND THUS PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEW TIMING AND LENGTH OF THE PERIODS:
I period: 432 - 438 MHz 15:00 – 21:00 UTC on Friday, 7.08.
II period: 1296 – 1300 MHz 03:00 – 07:00 UTC on Saturday, 8.08.
III period: 144 – 146 MHz 15:00 – 21:00 UTC on Saturday, 8.08.
IV period: „microwaves“ 03:00 – 05:00 UTC on Sunday, 9.08.
V period: 50MHz 06:00 – 08:00 UTC on Sunday, 9.08.
