ESTONIAN REPUBLIC 95 - special activity on air!
 

Estonian radioamateurs celebrated the 95th anniversary of the Estonian Republic (Estonia's Independence Day is on February 24th)
with ES95 special event stations on air from February 15th till March 3rd. More than 20 special calls were activated from the series ES95A to ES95Z representing different towns and regions of the country. Specially designed QSL-cards are ready and will be sent out via the ES-bureau soon. Also, the amateur radio award "Eesti Vabariik 95" will be established. The preliminary info about the award is that it will be a pdf-award, free of charge and can be applied by those who have fulfilled contacts with at least 10 (or 5, if you are outside of Europe) different ES95 stations. We hope to send the awards automatically to those, who have met the above given criteria.

The ES95 operation was sponsored by an Estonian electronics start-up company Satrian, specialising in development of SDR devices. Please have a look at their web-page - www.satrian.com

NRAU-BALTIC CONTEST 2013
 

NRAU-Baltic Contest was held on January 13th, the deadline for the logs was 20th of January - logs received later will be counted as check-logs. We hope to announce the final results of the contest soon!

ES SUMMER CAMP 
 

The Estonian radio amateurs' Summer Camp 2013 will take place at the beginning of July - 5.-7.07. at Vaibla Puhkekeskus (Lake Võrtsjärv). The camp will be organised by the hams from Tartu. Besides the usual tenting, there are ten 5-beds cabins available, for booking please contact the site's administration - more info on their web-page.
