 ESTONIAN OPEN VUSHF FIELD DAY 2010

WE KINDLY INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ESTONIAN OPEN VUSHF FIELD DAY IN AUGUST!
THE CONTEST CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING PERIODS:
I period: 432 - 438 MHz 15:00 – 21:00 UTC on Friday, 13.08.
II period: 1296 – 1300 MHz 03:00 – 07:00 UTC on Saturday, 14.08.
III period: 144 – 146 MHz 15:00 – 21:00 UTC on Saturday, 14.08.
IV period: „microwaves“ 03:00 – 05:00 UTC on Sunday, 15.08.
V period: 50MHz 06:00 – 08:00 UTC on Sunday, 15.08.

The Estonian Dream Team at WRTC in Moscow won silver medals!

 "The Estonian team (Tõnno Vähk, ES5TV and Toivo Hallikivi, ES2RR) showed an excellent class at the World Radiosport Team Championship held near Moscow last weekend and achieved the most valuable sport’s result in the country’s amateur radio history – winning the 2nd place and silver medals! The victory went to the Russian team (RW1AC, RA1AIP), but they won with a nearly thin margin (only 0,3%). The 3rd place was achieved by a strong US-team – N6MJ and KL9A. Tõnno and Toivo were also awarded with two additional prizes – one for the best SSB score among all participants, and the other one for the highest multiplier count! So, we can be very proud of our guys and call them a real „Dream Team“ of Estonia! Well done!!

YOU ARE ALL WELCOME TO THE 47TH ESTONIAN RADIO AMATEURS SUMMER CAMP HELD AT KAISMA SUURJÄRV!
KAISMA IS SITUATED IN THE MIDDLE OF ESTONIA, ~30KM SOUTH FROM RAPLA, AT THE BORDER OF RAPLA AND PÄRNU DISTRICTS. THE CAMPING SITE IS ON THE SHORE OF A NICE LAKE, OFFERING VARIOUS TENTING AND SPORTING OPPORTUNITIES AND OF COURSE – NICE INTACT NATURE! THIS YEAR WE MAINLY LIMIT WITH A „TENTING“ CAMP, AS THERE ARE NO TRADITIONAL COTTAGES TO BE RENTED OUT – NEVERTHELESS WE HOPE THAT THIS WILL NOT INFLUENCE OUR GUESTS’ PARTICIPATION!
